EAST KALIMANTAN

On the four provinces of Kalimantan (Indonesia Part) called the province of South Kalimantan comprises four geographically distinct territories the coasts, the marshlands, the lowlands and the hilly or mountainous hinterland. A major feature of the land are rivers with many floating markets scattered all over the place. Kembang island reserve is inhabited by a large population of tamed and firnedly longtiled monkey. An adventurer’s dream: Floating down the Amandit River on a bamboo raft, walking along the narrow footpaths and crossing the river to meet friendly people who seem totally unsuspicious of strangers, is a pleasure is itself.

04DAYS/ 03NIGHTS AMANDIT BAMBOO RAFTING TOUR

DAY 01: BANJARMASIN – KANDANGAN
Arrive at Banjarmasin Airport, meeting service and direct transfer to Kandangan town by minibus. Upon arrival City Sightseeing, then check in at hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 02: KANDANGAN – LUMPANGI – TAMIANG MALAH
After breakfast 2 hours drive by motor-cycle to Lumpangi Village, then 2 hours trekking to Tamiang Malah Dayak Longhouse. Lunch and dinner provided, over night at LONG HOUSE.

DAY 03: TAMIANG MALAH – MUHARA HATIP – MUHARA HARIANG
After breakfast go on foot to Muhara Hatip Village and then floating down the Amandit river on bamboo raft to Muhara Hariang Village. Lunch enroute arrival at Muhara Hariang Village, then continue the trip hiking to Mawangi village and then by minibus return to Banjarmasin. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 04: BANJARMASIN – OUT
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for your flight to the next destination.

05DAYS/04NIGHTS AMANDIT BAMBOO RAFTING TOUR

DAY 01: BANJARMASIN – BARABAI – HARUYAN
Arrive at Banjarmasin Airport, meeting service and directly transfer by minibus to Barabai town (approximately 3 hours drive), and then continue by minitruck to Tilahan Village. Then go on hike for one hour to Haruyan Dayak Village. Meals provided. Overnight stay at a very simple accommodation with the villager.

DAY 02: HARUYAN – PAPANGKAAN
After breakfast, fullday trekking up and down hill through the forest, enroute visit some " Balai" (commonal house of Dayak tribes). Lunch at Balai and then continue the trip to Muhara Ulang Village. Overnight stay at Balai Papangkaan. Time to observe the way of life and daily activities of the people. Dinner will be provided.

DAY 03: PAPANGKAAN – MUHARA HATIP
After breakfast start for trekking across the hill to the village of Muhara Hatip. Meals and overnight at the villager’s house.

DAY 04: MUHARA HATIP – MUHARA HARIANG – MAWANGI – BANJARMASIN
After breakfast start foran adventure trip by Bamboo Rafting floating down the Amandit river from Muhara Hatip to Muhara Hariang Village. Upon arrival at Muhara Hariang go on hike to Mawangi village, then proceed by minibus to Banjarmasin. Lunch provided. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Banjarmasin.

DAY 05: BANJARMASIN – OUT
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for your flight to the next destination.

02DAYS/1NIGHT DIAMOND MINING & BARITO TOUR

DAY 01: BANJARMASIN
Arrive at Banjarmasin airport. Meeting service and directly transfer to Cempaka Village to see traditional diamond miners. Lunch at local restaurant in Martapura then visit the traditional diamond polishing and diamond shop in Martapura. Return to Banjarmasin, dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 02: BANJARMASIN
After early breakfast depart to watch the floating houses "lanting" and the floating markets. Activities on and long the rivers are part of the daily life of the Banjarese people. Continue visit to the delta island "Pulau Kembang" to see the tame and friendly long tailed monkeys. Return to hotel for extension night stay, or direct transfer to airport for your flight to the next destination.
